Susie Cruz

Jesusa Cruz gained her wings on December 20, 2021 in Lubbock, Tx. She was born and raised in Brownfield, Tx where she was known to all by Susie. She will always be remembered for the selfless love she showed to all, devotion she gave to her family, and the heart she poured into her grandchildren.

Susie was born to Adolfo and Evangelina Cruz on September 14th, 1964 in Brownfield Texas. Those left to cherish her memories are three sons Michael Martinez of Brownfield, Jose Jr Martinez of Midland and Eric Martinez and his wife Teri of Brownfield and one daughter Meagan Ward and her husband Aaron of Hobbs, New Mexico. She is Grammy to eight grandchildren, Bayli Martinez, Kambri Martinez, Abriel Martinez, Mason Ward, Gia Calderon, Brexley Martinez, Avery Martinez and Eric Martinez Jr. Susie is also blessed with seven loving sisters, Virginia Warren, Becky Elizardo and her husband Ernesto, Patricia Cruz, Angie Cruz, Annette Cruz, Rachel Cruz and Eva Cruz. Susie is proceeded in death by her parents, sister Barbara Cruz and son Marcus Anthony Martinez.

Services will be conducted 10:00 am Thursday, December 23rd at Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member. Brother Steve will be officiating and burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery.
