Troy Lee Barnes

Funeral services for Troy Lee Barnes, 47, of Brownfield will be held 10 am Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church with Father Jose Kochuparambie officiating. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a rosary held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 6pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Troy passed away Friday, January 18, 2019 in Lubbock. He was born July 7, 1971 in Lincoln, NE to Gary and Marla Barnes. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Troy married Kristi Ann Herrera on March 15, 2013 in Lincoln, NE. He was the VP of Operations for Maverick Well Pluggers in Midland. Troy was a great man who loved his kids and family. Troy was a great provider to his family. Troy was a dependable hardworking man the was dedicated to his job. He loved to work with tools and had a love for cars. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Barnes.
Troy is survived by his wife, Kristi Barnes of Brownfield; two children, Andrew Herrera of Brownfield, Ava Renae Barnes of Brownfield; two brothers, Kevin Barnes and wife, Jodie of Lincoln, NE, Cory Barnes and wife, Kristin of Lincoln, NE; sister, Staci Fitzsimmons and husband, George of Lincoln, NE; mother, Marla Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
