Victoria DeLeon Leija

Funeral services for Victoria D. Leija, of Brownfield, will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the Spanish Foursquare Church in Brownfield. There will be a public viewing on Thursday and Friday, December 15 and 16, 2022, from 10 am to 8 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Victoria passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022. She was born on November 9, 1942, in Stockdale, TX to Ignacio and Jacinta DeLeon. She married Johnny B. Leija, Sr. on April 7, 1966.

Victoria is survived by her husband of 56 years, Johnny B. Leija, Sr.; a son, Johnny Leija, Jr. and wife, Carmen; 3 daughters, Rebecca Leija, Rosa Salinas and husband, Hector, Jr., and Ruby Lener and fiance, Mark Moreno; 5 grandsons, Jonthan Salinas, Johnny Leija Ill, Jose and Moses Valenzuela, and Isaiah Lener; 3 granddaughters, Ysenia Leija, Marcella Salinas, and Sgt. Keyira Lener; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Victoria is proceeded in death by her parents: Ignacio and Jacinta DeLeon and son-in-law, Robert Lener and 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
