It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wilma Jane Finley, who passed away peacefully at home on June 5, 2026, at the age of 95, surrounded by the love and presence of her great-granddaughter Sara, her husband Jaime, and her great-great-grandchildren Niko and Jaicee. Wilma was born on October 20, 1930, in Oakland, California. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was defined by strength, perseverance, and unwavering love for her family. She was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and steadfast presence. She possessed a quiet strength that carried her through life's challenges and served as an inspiration to those around her. Her warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Above all, Wilma cherished her family. She found her greatest joy in watching her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren grow and thrive. The love she gave so freely created a legacy that will continue for generations. Her life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and devotion. Her family finds comfort knowing she passed peacefully at home, surrounded by love. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who loved her for generations to come. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Finley; her daughter, Pam Rogers; her sisters, Betty Remillard and Judy DeJonghe; and her brother, Joe Nevis.
